It can be tempting to keep the pedal to the metal, but that may not always be the best move.
REST IS BEST

We know you want to see results and you want to see them now! That can make pushing through fatigued muscles or even staying up late to get a workout in very tempting, however, your body also needs and benefits greatly from rest too.
In fact, a study was recently conducted that showed people who on average get an additional 1.2 hours of sleep at night reduced their number of calories consumed by 270 and on up to 500. That can add up over time making it worth your time to catch some extra sleep and rest.

There is also the matter of injury which is much more likely to happen when you are foggy due to lack of sleep or your muscles have been fatigued from overuse.
It’s ok to take a day or two every week to step back and focus on recovery, I.E., getting more sleep, getting a massage, taking a spa day, etc. so that you can get back to killing it at the gym.
